Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that focuses on malocclusions, which means the way teeth fit together. Orthodontic treatment involves specifically placed and designed appliances that gently move the teeth into their desired position. At Tru North Orthodontics, there are a number of options such as braces, Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, Lingual braces and many more that enable us to give you a straighter, healthier smile.
Orthodontic treatment can be necessary to repair:

It is recommended to see an orthodontist by the age of 7.
Even though early treatment can be beneficial for some, comprehensive orthodontic treatment usually doesn’t occur until most, if not all of the baby teeth have fallen out. That usually occurs between the ages of 10 and 13.
Adult treatment has become increasingly popular in our practice. About 25%-33% of our patients are adults. Adults tend to be interested in more esthetic options such as Invisalign, and lingual braces. But Accelerated Invisalign is also an attractive option that can speed up treatment by 38%-50%.
